X-ray emission from cosmic web filaments in SRG/eROSITA data

چکیده
Using the publicly available eROSITA Final Equatorial Depth Survey (eFEDS) data, we detected stacked X-ray emissions at position of 463 filaments a significance 3.8 sigma based on combination all energy bands. In parallel, found that probability measurement under null hypothesis is ~0.0017. The were identified with galaxies in Sloan Digital Sky survey, ranging from 30 Mpc to 100 length 0.2 < z 0.6. stacking was performed eFEDS count-rate maps range between 0.4 - 2.3 keV after masking resolved galaxy groups and clusters point sources ROSAT, Chandra, XMM-Newton, observations. addition, diffuse foreground background or any residual contribution removed by subtracting signal region 10 20 filament spines. For signal, an spectral analysis, which indicated associated thermal emission. According model astrophysical plasma emission code for beta-model gas distribution beta=2/3, can be interpreted as hot average temperature 1.0 (+0.3 -0.2) overdensity 21 +- 5 center filaments.

Cosmic Walls and Filaments Formation in Modied Chaplygin Gas Cosmology
We want to study the perturbation growth of an initial seed of an ellipsoidal shape in Top-Hat collapse model of the structure formation in the Modied Chaplygin gas cosmology. Considering reasonable values of the constants and the parameters of the model under study, we can show that a very small deviation from spherical symmetry (ellipsoidal geometry) in the initial seed leads to a nal highly ...
متن کاملTime Delays in Cosmic Ray Propagation
Cosmic Rays (CR) travel at speeds essentially indistinguishable from the speed of light. However whilst travelling through magnetic fields, both regular and turbulent, they are delayed behind the light since they are usually charged particles and their paths are not linear. Those delays can be so long that they are an impediment to correctly identifying sources which may be variable in time. Fu...

We summarize the current observational picture regarding high-energy emission from Galactic X-ray binaries, reviewing the results of the Compton Gamma Ray Observatory mission. We speculate on the prospects for the GLAST era.
متن کاملX - ray emission from Saturn
We report the first unambiguous detection of X-ray emission originating from Saturn with a Chandra observation, duration 65.5 ksec with ACIS-S3. Beyond the pure detection we analyze the spatial distribution of X-rays on the planetary surface, the light curve, and some spectral properties. The detection is based on 162 cts extracted from the ACIS-S3 chip within the optical disk of Saturn. We fou...
